Born and raised in Maryland, Nathanael moved to Costa Rica in 2016, where he enrolled in an intensive program at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy, then relocated to Tucson to begin his massage career.

As someone highly attuned to movement, Nathanael has, in developing as a practitioner, come to understand massage as a kind of moving meditation. Immersing himself in the flow of a treatment allows him to connect with clients and focus on how their physical, mental, and emotional bodies respond to his work. Nathanael sees massage not as a luxury, but as an integral part of a healthy life. He puts this view into practice by developing a treatment plan for each client, customizing his sessions with various modalities, and showing clients how to better care for their bodies.
